Pink Eye and other Conjunctive Sentences

Sydney has pink eye. You gotta love pre-school.
The good thing is(yes always a silver lining) it's the bacterial conjunctivitis.
Now how is that a good thing you ask ? Because we can give her antibiotics to clear it up. Again, how is giving antibiotics a good thing. Because it clears things up in 24 hours, when a viral infection takes anywhere from 2-14 days to clear on its own.
You find with kids that 9 out of 10 times it's viral....and with viral comes a pat on the back and a prescription of Tylenol or Motrin every 4 hours.
Trust me...when you are on your 3rd day of the child from hell, and it's either kick the virus or call for a priest to come in and pray for the evil spirits to be gone...you wish that it were a bacterial infection so that it could poof be gone.

Sometimes with pink eye (bacterial)you get an ear infection and congestion.
Only sometimes.
Syd has an ear infection and congestion. (she's never in her 2 almost 3 years of life had an ear infection) Silver lining : When she's sick I let her just lay around, watch videos, rest. That gives mom 2 hands to take on the rest of the world.

At the end of the day......It's all good !
