"What do you mean ?"
"How do I turn the movie on in my eyes...when they are closed and I'm sleeping ?"
"AAAAAAAHHHH, those are dreams Bub, we can't turn them on...they just come when we sleep."
"but I want to watch it AGAIN mom."
"I know Bubby, I'm glad you had good dreams."
My mom has for over 2 weeks now, been refering to J as Mommy J. No more J, or Stupid J.P (my moms nickname for J...mostly when we play cards)
She will now tell Syd to, "go ask Mommy J"
Oh yes she does ! I don't know what started it or what brought her to this place (3 1/2 years later), but bless her heart she has grown ! :) I Love you mom !
Cameron has picked up Papa's name, which is the name Syd uses for Grandpa. We went to Grandma and Papa's house and as we headed down their street from the back seat Cam started singing...."Papa....papa....papa".
When we got inside he quickly made his way to his papa and chirped.."PAPA" as happy as a little bird.
My dad is this gruffy guy and the fact that these babies love him so much cracks us all up. He doesn't even try.
I'm thinking that my previous hormonal imbalance (that's what we'll call it :) has taken it's toll on Sydney.
I can't quite put my finger on why....I just have this gut feeling she's holding it inside someplace.
The title of this piece is....."Ragging" the comfort and protection of Kot.ex made by Ser.ta the perfect sleeper.

(I do believe the one is pulling the others hair. Maybe she is....maybe she isn't)

"movie in my eyes"...so sweet!
Your dad sounds like mine. He just walks around the house - does nothing - and all the grandkids adore him. What is that?
Poor Syd. Poor barbies. When she starts poking their eyes out or ripping an arm off, that's when you should worry.
I am lovin the kotex!
new to your blog - great to read!
funny on the kotex! Ha!
Movie in my eyes - that is too cute!
how cool that she's recognizing her dreams and wanting more! i always wonder if ryan dreams and if so of what.
your dad sounds like mine. does very little yet the little girl flocks to him. only of course when uncle dave isn't around ; ) as per your question on our blog, he is my brother...
Way to go grandma! Movin on up. It just takes time. Sum's parents were way bad at first, but now they are awesome!
So who is the real artist behind that lovely exhibit- you, Syd, or Mommy J?
That is great! Everything, actually. The mom thing, bless her heart, the papa thing, grumpy but loved. And the pad? Oh my gosh! Made my day. Wish I had some big enough to lay down on, cause I so would. Yes I would...
I normally don't decorate with maxipads when playing doll house. This was all Syd's doing.
so sweet - movie in my eyes - really cute! glad that she had a good dream and want to see it again!!
Love that kotex! ;o)
That photo is so funny! Love the idea of the little ones attached to the gruff grandpa. It's kind of like that in my family, too.
Girl, you are NOT right! That is too funny!
Hahahahah.. Too cute! I bet that made a pretty comfy bed.. LMAO and it looked like she was pulling her hair to me too.. (dirty minds, dirty minds)
I used to think that same thing about the movie in our eyes.. Darling, I love it!
That's great that your mom is finally calling Janice Mommy J! That's awesome.. Hey, 3 1/2 years isn't bad.. Some people NEVER realize it
That is too cute about the dreams.
Love the picture. Hahaha. My brother put them on his knees as knee pads when he was little. Kids think anything is a toy...
