My boys run around and scream "that and this, that and this !"
No literally, they are saying "that"...and "this"....(well to anyone NOT a part of our family it would sound more like da dis da dis)
Right now behind me Cameron is saying this this this....this this this....and sometimes he drags it out with a hissing sound....sthiiiiiisssssss.
We are also
certain that when we ask a question, they both understand and answer....mostly in whole sentences.
example :
Cameron, where are you going ? responds with, "I'm downstairs" or..."aw dost zzz"
Spencer, what are you doing ? responds with, "I'm getting my bike" or "aye ga mmm bye"
Now one might say...that this is CRAZY and how could they be forming sentences already. One might also add that when they are running around the house babbling that anyone could form words out of the sounds that they make.
AH HA ! (pulling cape over mouth only exposing eyes)
WHATEVER ! Me and J both look at each other and laugh when we hear the same thing and will point out...did you hear what I heard :) ha ha...it sounded like he said he was going to get his bike.
(note to self, get a bike for the kid so that your story will hold a little more water)
I look back at Sydney's baby book and all of the words and sounds that she was saying at their age and it amazes me. BUT alas, I worked so hard with her...and these guys are getting the short end of the stick when it comes to patty cake.
oh well !
New words for the boys,
Cameron will now say all done, (he flips his hands palms face up) Even better...if I continue to push food at him...that's when things get messy, batted out of hands, tossed to the floor sometimes even thrown across the table.
LISTEN TO ME ALREADY DAMN IT...I SAID I WAS ALL DONE LIKE 2 TIMES WITH MY HANDS ALL FLIPPED UP AND MY HEAD TILTED ALL CUTE, what part of AH DA don't you understand lady.
Spencer is going to be my sound guy, he says animal sounds and now likes to go in his room and pull the elephants trunk doing the lip together, raspberry, car sound 3 times while pulling the trunk up and down. Mommy J does the ULTIMATE elephant.
Boys, I apologize for not working with you more. I promise that when you are 15 you will talk just as good as your sister.
Speaking of sister. Sydney is my little signer. Since coming in contact with our 1/2 sibs Mommy Mama and Cubs. We are trying to pick up more signs. Now Syd will be in the middle of a sentence and say..."mama, what's the sign for brother?" "mama, what's the sign for day?" I show her and then 3 days later we will be at Grandma and Papa's house and she will announce, "hey papa, hey grandma, do you want to see the sign for brother?" showing them flawlessly. I smile as if I had worked
hours on end with her...and
OH MY GAW you should see the HUNDREDS of words she knows in sign language. THIS, is just the tip of the iceberg. :)
I know, WHATEVER !
