I have always wondered how drug addicts and mental cases take on the responsibility of a new baby. And there are crack ho's with twins. How do they manage ? I can barely do it sober (most of the time).
And then I watched this and realized, hell...if a 4 year old can handle it, SURELY a druggy can. and then I felt bad about myself for just hanging on.
I know most of you will probably push play and then watch for 2 seconds and then hit comments because WHY watch 4 minutes of this.....but I need to tell you, it took me 5 hours to get this damn thing loaded to one.true.media and uploaded to my blog....so if that made you feel the least bit bad, maybe you could watch for at least 30 seconds. :)
You can sign up for winter quarter November 1st. Syd will be teaching all classes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2 pm.

I watched the WHOLE thing. One, those boys were incredibly patient with their sister, they obviously love her to death. Two, don't you love knowing the way Syd is with the boys, talking to them and being all cute with them comes from watching her mamas love her brothers? You must be doing a great job! You could mass market her you know....

Ah, it's a cold heart that would push stop before that sweet video was over. I sat mesmerized through the entire thing. LOVE how she calls him buddy through it all and worries if it's too tight and apologizes to him. SOOOO Sweet...I wanna gobble 'em up! Lucky mama you are to have that little helper!
Reminds me of myself when my baby sister was born. I was 9, much older than Syd. I watched the whole thing with admiration.
She is absolutely wonderful. I get so flustered with an 8 month old and a 5 year old and I see her so calmly with the babies. I loved how she stopped diapering one, focused on the other, then went back to her diapering job.

She is such a mommmy's helper. I especially like the motherly advice you gave her, "don't touch the penis", keep reminding her that so in 12 years she knows not to touch the penis!
Your 5 hours was not in vain. Not only did T watch it earlier, but when I watched it the kids (all 3) wanted to watch it. It was stinkin' cute. I, too, am surprised she didn't get a peed on. I especially loved when she stopped to cover Nathan before finishing up with Ryan:)

Good for you for having a little helper. My Sydney is a big helper, but she still won't change a diaper - at almost 6! Speaking of changing diapers, I smell something bad...
So dang cute! I need a little helper like that for middle of the night cryings. I'm too tired to care how old they are, so Syd will do just fine.
