Cam-man's Christmas !

Sydney and Spencer.....playing in the snow. Cam...watching Sydney and Spencer playing in the snow.

Spencer's Christmas

And then he found the box of whoppers in his stocking....and it was over.
(cue Disney love story music)

"stay the hell away from my whoppers or I'll saw you in to a million pieces and feed you to Santa's reindeer"

Sydney's big long story.

I wanted to document how well Sydney is doing at reading.
Watching her learn just proves to me how screwed up the English language is and how amazing other people in other countries are to learn it.
H says huh, unless it follows a w and then it's silent or a t and then it's thh.
E says eh, but sometimes ee. Long sounds, short sounds, silent and deadly sounds and quite frankly I'm still learning the rules.
I can't wait until she starts learning fractions. UGH !

SOOOOOOOOO, I mailed out your winners packages today. A friend made me feel really guilty for not getting them out. She managed to make, bake 3 million cookies, get them packaged and mailed out and I couldn't get these lousy packages out in over a month :)
In my defense I tried to have them mailed once and found out that it cost over $5.00 each to mail. Now I like you people but $100.00 to mail out your packages was over my budget.
I had to take some of the free stuff out. I will take a picture of those items not mailed and post it so you can feel bad about it :)

Over the hills we go.....

I took Spencer on his first sledding excursion. We went with some of our best friends Imani and Nia.
He had a blast until he flipped going at least 45 MPH and rolled down the last part of the small mountain, resembling a hill, on his face. A fat bloody lip left him feeling a tad bit cautious...so cautious in fact that another trip down the hill was out of the question. So instead......
What's more fun than sledding. SPLASHING !!!!

(note, Cameron is cautious of the snow altogether. He stayed home in a nice warm bath ALL BY HIMSELF and played with all of his new Christmas bath toys...sorry no pictures. Oh and the bitch is sounding more like betch today. We are hoping with practice it will become bench and maybe one day a wrench)

I heard him say as he drove out of sight..........

"Screw a bitch"
"hammer a bitch"

My boys got tools for Christmas. A hammer some screws and a wrench. You can guess what Cameron calls a wrench.

By a raise of hands...who's sick of hearing about my sick kids.
Ok, ok, put your fucking hands down.
I won't be talking about my sick kids today.

Don't be jealous moms.
You see a month or so ago our very most favorite Miss Monique offered to watch the kids every Saturday through the 20th of December for some extra spending cash for Christmas. She is a neighbor who ran a daycare out of her house who used to take Syd 2 days a week when I worked. She also taught preschool and I believe is the reason Syd is so smart today :) She has 4 kids, her oldest is married, her youngest is 8.
ANY WAYS...she was use to running a full daycare so 5 kids is no biggy and hasn't been. We signed up for every weekend offered but one and have enjoyed movies, dinner and friends for weeks. but alas...all good things must come to an end and damn it ours has too. For yesterday was the 20th and our final night with Miss Monique.
We did however get to enjoy dinner with some great friends last night. a perfect ending if you ask me.

Tonight we went to see Christmas lights at a local house who of course set lights to music in an amazing scene. (you need to click on the link and then watch the videos of what we got to see) More impressive were the houses though...HOLY SHIT they were huge. Who knew there were such mansions in Lindon of all places.
Any ways, we stopped for ice cream and ate it while we slowly inched our way up to the house and enjoyed a few songs before returning home.

Life is full of simple pleasures and I'm taking notice of all of them.

It's either been 72 hours since going to the doctors office crawling with tons of hairy miserable viruses.
OR the boys are still trying to get over their colds and they are getting worse before getting better.
(defeated sigh)

I give up. Seriously. Waving the white fucking flag. Laying down. Surrendering.

I-I-I-I just can't handle another 2 weeks of this. Ryan's nose can't handle being sucked out for 2 more days let alone another 10.
I just got my older 3 back from the mother ship and have really enjoyed them for 3 days....I don't want them taken away again. Take me. For real.
(hysterical sobbing)
uh-whyyyyyyyyyyy !!!!

Syd had her gymnastic performance this weekend. It was great. They do such a good job.
Syd wanted you guys to see her costume.

How do you like the lady RIGHT in the middle of my picture. :) Find waldo.
(syd is in the middle group, on her knees with her hands on her hips)

We had a Christmas party with our friends on Sunday, hosted by none other.
We took a picture of the kids, (who were awake and willing) and had them decorate a mat and then framed them as a craft project.
We also did a book exchange. It was a lot of fun and at one point the kids were all quietly playing and the adults had a mommy moment of aaaaaawwwhhhhhhhh.
We of course came to and realized that it's NEVER good when it's quiet, 1/2 of us went in search of trouble. none to be found though and we resumed. It was a lot of fun.
we missed everyone that wasn't able to be there.

Here is our picture. Look, I managed to get all 3 of my kids in a picture. and they are all looking at the camera. son of a....

Attemptation

What do you get with 5 sick kids.
a camera.
and a Christmas picture wish ?

You get shit. that's the answer. all that is left is a feelings of resentment and the need to run far far away.

So goes getting an updated picture of the babies to send out. So what if they are only a few weeks old in the picture we send. right ?

Here they are all glorious and round. Can I get some butter with that roll :)

Well I'll be a plucked chicken in a hail storm. Only in my storm the hail is on fire. and we're in hell. and everybody is coughing and crying simultaneously.
It continues. The life is slowly being sucked out of me. and it's loud. no one is safe.

More randomness, laced with complaining and bitching, followed by completely ABSOLUTELY adorable pictures of my kids

Sick of sick.
BLASTED (shaking fits at ceiling) I'm SO tired of my kids being sick.
They have yet ANOTHER round of colds and the worst thus far....it includes horrible coughing. Sounds like it's in their chest but really it's just hanging out in their tubes all wet and moist and raspity and barkity. This virus has taken my children to the mother ship and replaced them with something UGLY. something that cries all of the time and whines at EVERYTHING included when someone walks past them and the air moves the sleeve on their jammies and OMG don't you know what just happened or when they have been laid down because I can't hold both of you at the same time let alone all FOUR OF YOU and I have to make lunch (that they all cry about) and serve it up (which none of them will eat any ways) and what they do eat seems to make it's way through their little bodies and takes on the form of something that's been shaken not stirred. Something that's been through a juicer and not so much steamed.
(sigh)
pulease stop crying.....(followed of course by sounds of my own crying)

They are so sick and so I've had to suck it up and stay calm, cool and collect through it all...because...it sucks as bad to be sick as it does taking care of one (or 5) who are sick.
Please God let this end quickly and also make it end before the boys 4 month appointments so that I don't have to make the decision to wait on immunizing them which means I will have to return because even though it's been proven that autism isn't caused by immunizing your kids while they are sick, like plastic in the microwave, it still sits in the back of my mind and that little voice inside my head pulls the hairs in my nose until I listen while nodding and smiling at the pediatrician who is of course gritting her teeth and saying politely for the 20th time, "no it doesn't, but we'll do whatever makes you feel comfortable" (pat, pat, pat). amen.

We did manage this week to go to beer school. I learned all about how beer is made, what's in it, and how you drink it. (apparently through a tube with a funnel on the end isn't the best way to appreciate the taste of a good beer)
I also found out why I'm not supposed to drink Bud.light but will continue drinking it because like saturated fat I've acquired a taste for it. (we're queer, we're here, so give us a light beer)
I was able to consume a heffa with unfortunately no lemon because we were "appreciating" it's natural flavor. still so yummy.

We went to J's work Christmas party. There was expensive wine. Great food and even dancing at the end of the night.

When we aren't passing sick kids off to babysitters we do play with them.
Sometimes.

Here's my rollin' rollin' Raspberry blowin' hunk of playin fun. (Ryan)

The coughiest of the group and you wouldn't know it by the smile on his face. (Nathan)

Look mom, no hands.

Laugh factory.

And then on to the game called mom hides and then scares the living SHIT out of the boys.
Here is an unsuspecting Spencer asking sweetly "Where's mama ?" (look even the dog looks scared)

"RAAAAH !!!"

(spencer in a diaper because of a major blow out moments before)

you are always able to hide in the same spot because 2 year olds apparently have the memory of fish :)
and once again....."RAAAH !!!"

(and then insane laughter ensues, because although completely immature, it's fun as hell scaring them)
